ABOUT THE PROJECT FOUNDERS

The Little Angels of the Broken Wings is the realization of a long term dream of husband and wife Joseph and Joseline Pierre. Longtime members in good standing of the Silver Spring Church of God in Silver Spring, MD, they have had a great desire to aid the people of Haiti in some fashion. Bro. Joseph went to Haiti to help shortly after the earthquake of 2010. He knew then exactly what they were called to do: to minister to children orphaned by the earthquake and to other orphans as God should lead.  As of May 2015, ten boys are living at the orphanage.  On the left Bro. Joseph is addressing the people assembled for the medical building dedication of July 12, 2012 in Camp Louise , Haiti. The top photo below is of the finished medical building (September 18, 2013), and below that is the nearly complete building at the dedication in 2012. On the bottom left we see Reverend Lajuana Caldwell and Sis. Joseline Pierre (wife of Bro. Joseph Pierre) ministering in prayer. Next are Sis. Joseline and two of her children, James and Johanne.  The last photo shows the Pierre Family Little Angels Team back in the U.S. at their home church, The Silver Spring church of God, on Easter Sunday 2013.

THE MEDICAL BUILDING IS NOW COMPLETE!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS!

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Little Angels of the Broken Wings, Rev. LaJuana D. Caldwell Ministries and the Silver Spring Church of God, thank you for your participation in the 2013 Prayer Vigil for the Nation of Haiti. Each of the 24 hours was covered by representatives from churches, organizations or individuals. Over two hundred people attended the live prayer vigil and many stayed to pray for the entire 24 hours. The live stream participation was extraordinary with participants, from Canada, the West Indies, the US, and Europe at one point or another! The Voice of America picked up our story and broadcast a live interview with Bro. Joseph Pierre, the founder of the Little Angels of the Broken Wings Ministry.

By faith we know that many strongholds were broken! Spiritual hindrances were removed and Haiti has a chance to move forward. We thank God for your generosity. Many of you responded not only with your prayers but with your gifts. We raised over $6,000 in contributions and pledges!

The water pump and the health clinic are now complete and open to serve the Camp-Louise community. Steps are under way to break ground on the dormitory and other buildings.   Please continue to pray for favor as we move forward with this project.

Other Prayer needs:

Additional funds to complete the project (approx. $100,000 US)

Favorable weather to complete the buildings

Volunteers with medical and health care backgrounds to support the clinic

If you made a pledge commitment to this ministry, please remember your pledge by donating online, or by mailing a check:
